Cloud web analytics, cookieless by default.

Lite Analytics is a hosted web analytics service with servers at Hetzner in Germany; it is still running, but there have been no public signs of development since 2024. It sets no cookies and counts visitors with a daily hash, and paid plans count both pageviews and events.

Lite Analytics is a hosted service operated by Netmark doo that counts visitors without cookies and keeps its data on Hetzner servers in Germany. Sign-up and the live demo still work, but the blog’s latest post dates from July 2024 and the vendor keeps no public changelog, so there are no visible signs of recent development.
The free plan covers 10,000 pageviews a month on two websites with one user. Listed paid plans go up to one million pageviews and 100 websites, with larger plans arranged individually; they add custom events and count events together with pageviews.
Reports stop at country level, and the documentation describes no goals, funnels or API. For how daily hashes replace cookies, see what “cookieless” means here.
Sign up with an email address or a Google account, then add a site by its bare domain, without www, and choose the time zone that all its reports will use. In Settings, Get code produces a script tag with your domain in its data-host attribute; place it just before the closing head tag.
A separate Google Tag Manager version of the code goes into a Custom HTML tag with the All Pages trigger. For WordPress, the vendor offers no plugin of its own and points to the theme’s code fields, the Header & Footer Code plugin or a function in functions.php. Custom events work only after you set the data-events attribute to true.
As documented on the vendor’s own pages. “Partly” means the feature has limits or is only on some plans.
What the vendor documents. A platform that is not listed has no guide, plugin or package from the vendor.
No. According to the data policy, visitors are identified with a daily hash of the date, hostname, IP address and user agent plus a salt, and the IP address is not stored. The vendor says no cookie banner is needed for Lite Analytics; whether that holds for your site depends on the rules that apply to you.
Yes. The free plan covers 10,000 pageviews a month on two websites, with one user and one email report. New accounts also get a 30-day trial that needs no credit card, and paid plans are billed through Paddle, monthly or yearly.
Occasional spikes are not charged. If traffic stays above the plan, the vendor contacts you to upgrade; without an upgrade within two weeks the account is suspended, and two weeks after that it is terminated and its data deleted, according to the terms.
In Germany. The data policy says all services and collected data are hosted with Hetzner, an EU-based company, on its servers in Germany, and the homepage states that visitor data never leaves the EU.
How each value is collected: methodology. Why tools get no overall score: our reasoning.
